If you voted and would like to see a change than change the way you vote!
Percentage of voting age population casting a vote for president in 2000 was
only 51.3%.
Well at least just over half of the people who could vote did, however, the
president was elected with about 25% of the vote. I think that is sad
don't you?
If you do not vote - WHY NOT?.
Firstly you did not make the effort to vote then powers that be do not care what
you think or how you feel.
It is not only who gets in office but what
about how your/our/my money spent - what about bond issues? Do you not care
how your money is spent?
The 2000 Presidential election results:
Gore received 48.38% of the votes with 50,999,897 and won 21 states & 266
electoral college votes.
Bush received 47.87% of the votes with 50,456,002, and won 30 states & 271
electoral college votes.
Total electoral college votes needed to win 270.
Others received 4% of the votes with 3,874,040, and won 0 states & 0 electoral
college votes.
Only other person to get over 1% of the vote was Nader with 2,882,995 or 2.74%.
The difference Bush and Gore = 543,895 votes.
Thank you Nevada as 3315 of your 608,970 voters voted for someone other than the
Bush and Gore and voted for one the other 16 listed below for
president, I wish other people would fallow your lead and send a real message to
the powers that be that they better watch out or they will not be the powers
that be for much longer ;-).

If everyone who does not vote took a little time to vote and voted for a third
party things would change in a hurry.
