From time to time CCCC and/or CCC-C.com are asked about the information in our ads we hope this will answer these questions.
                     The first line of all ads tells us and you a bit about the person in the ad, for example:      399-CO 805390058 8303 QYPN 3 54 1
                     The first 3 numbers are a code number we have given to each Country.  For example, 101=Afghanistan, 315=Zambia. In the case of 399=USA only, we have also added the two letter US Postal Service abbreviation for each state, in this example 399-CO=USA-Colorado.
                     The next 9 numbers and/or letters [805390058] is in office information. In most, but not all, cases it is their Postal/Zip code.
                     The next 4 numbers [8303] gives us all an idea of how old the ad is. The first two numbers are the first year CCCC and/or CCC-C.com heard from this person. In this example that would be 1983. The second two numbers are the last time CCCC and/or CCC-C.com heard from this person. In this example that would be in the year 2003. To the best of our knowledge CCCC and CCC-C.com are the only organizations in the world that does this. It is our practice, at this time, to keep listings for at least a year depending on the request of our members. Sometimes a member may contact us or other members but not change the information in their ad. We will keep them active but may not always change the last time heard from information.
                     The next 4 letters [QYPN] are for in office use only.
          The last 4 numbers [3 54 1] are personnel information given to us by each member. In this example the 3=Single/never married. The 54 is their Year of Birth=1954. And the 1=Male, this last digit could be a 2=Female or B=both. An X in this area means the member did not tell us if they were married or not, their year of birth, and/or their sex.
                     This first line is followed by more information about each member which may include some of their hobbies and interests, see complete list below*.  In some cases they my have their photo, address, and/or e-mail address.  However, as a safeguard and to protect our members we at CCC-C.com will not place our member's photo, address, and/or e-mail address on our web site without a signed and dated release statement.  As we all know and should understand once something is on the internet it is accessible to and can be downloaded by other people and sites and they can use it in anyway they wish.  We all know (sad to say) there are bad people out there. People who will use and abuse whatever system they can to their advantage. The more open a system is the easier it is for these people. As the internet is perhaps the most open system ever we all must watch what we say, show, have out there and/or on the internet, about us.
                     Examples of members information in an ad might be: Female likes Animals Music-listening Dancing 39 52 All letters answered English (or) Male Divorced Vet Med Postcards Stamps Correspondence 31 75 Hospitality offered Meeting Immigration Non-smoker Non-drinker Send photo AC EL
This information is sent to CCCC and/or CCC-C.com via the Postal Service, e-mail, and/or from our web site's join page As with the country names all hobbies, interests, and other information have been given a code number, see complete list below*. The exception to this is Languages known which we have given a two letter abbreviation or have written out.  In the above examples AC=Arabic EL=English 31=Animals 39=Coins 52=Gift Exchange and 75=Science.

Some members prefer not to have their address published, printed, or posted on the internet;
We will then print them with a code number.           TO ANSWER CODED ADS:
1) Write a letter remember to include your return address so that they may write back to you.
2) Enclose each letter in a separate envelope, after you;
3) Print clearly the Name and Code number on the lower left corner of each envelope.
4) Place all the envelope you wish forwarded (fwd) in a large envelope; and
5) Enclose fwd fee of US $1.00 or 2 IRCs for each ounce, of each envelope.
6) Mail larger envelope to CCCC attn. fwd: PO Box 58 Loveland CO USA 80539-0058.
